Drawing & Painting

Continuing to build upon fundamental skills and learning new techniques, this year-long course offers an intense two-dimensional drawing and painting experience. Students actively explore materials and media and reach a fuller understanding of major art movements ranging from realism to abstraction through structured exercises. Development of self-expression and personal voice are emergent through this course of study.

This course is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors who have completed the prerequisite course of Studio Art.
